Sump Return Rate
OK its official, I'm into the saltwater world. just getting my toes wet but I'm in it. I have a 10 gallon tank right now and I'm going to upgrade to a 29 gallon with a 10 gallon sump. I know still small potatoes but its not bad to start off with.
Anyone have any ideas as to sump ideas, or even more helpful the return/turnover rate of a saltwater tank?

I also have a Fluval 206 that has a 206 gallon per hour turn over rate. that would mean that it would turn over 7 times in an hour. could i just use it and change out a filter basket?

Canisters generally aren't used in Saltwater because they can build up nitrates.

AA, we USED to have a Salt Section on here with only a few devotee's. If you want to document your foray into the "dark side" of the hobby, I'll re-establish that category!.. Bill
